Join the Ohana Paddle Club, friends and other witches (and wizards) on the water to celebrate Witches on Water, a nationwide Halloween paddling celebration! Wear your costume and even deck out your board for this fun paddle parade at Ballena Bay in Alameda! We will be meeting in the Ballena Bay Lagoon and the parade will start at 10:00 am. Many families and beginners participate in this event, so please try to arrive early so we can all get out on the water on time.
You can put in at Mike’s Paddle. There is a $10 Launch fee if you are not a member. If you need a board, you can rent one at Mike’s. Please call the shop at 415-704-6176 for reservations.
Or, if you have your own gear, you can put in at Crab Cove or at Encinal Beach and paddle over to the Lagoon.
